I create fresh, vibrant images that capture the essence of my subjects, from portraits and landscapes to still lifes and abstracts.
My Work
I have a passion for all types of art from painting, printmaking, sculpture and photography to stained glass and ceramics, but my first love is painting as it can be done at any time without too much preparation, just a sketchbook and small box of paints and a place to sit.

Approach
I approach my work with an open perspective, no preconceived ideas and enjoy discussing and getting to know your needs and your individual preferences as it is vital that I understand what you envisage and that the outcome meets your expectations. My style is broad and technique flexible, developed over years of practice and experience and can be adapted to your wishes - according to your brief, I can paint figuratively or if you prefer, move towards a looser technique, or abstraction, it is your choice and I have many examples for you to browse through before you make a decision on what is suitable for you. Special people or places can be immortalised in paint, producing an image unique to you which sits in your chosen place and gives pleasure to the viewer or perhaps provides an interesting talking point.
